چکیده
CD44, a cell surface proteoglycan, is involved in multiple biological events. CD44 transcripts undergo tissue-dependent alternative splicing, resulting dozens of functionally distinct isoforms. However, the nature these isoforms human skin has not been adequately determined. Recently, we isolated and designated all 18 unique by cloning strategy. In our previous study, found that expression transcripts, particularly CD44v3-10, CD44v4-10, CD44v6-10, CD44v8-10 CD44s were differentially regulated chemical agents affect pathophysiology cultured normal malignant keratinocytes produced different upon serum stimulation starvation, suggesting particular proteins may be associated with proliferation, redox, differentiation tumorigenesis activities via pathways. To shed light on involvement variants tumorigenesis, investigated CD44v6-containing panel 76 squamous carcinoma (SCC) tissues immunohistochemical staining. We CD44v6 was lower SCC as compared general. also significantly reduced (p=0.0012) than skin. Moreover, cases tend to show higher nuclear (p=0.0106). Our further analysis revealed grade showed (p<0.0281) tendency increased expression. Cell staining tended decrease increase, respectively, tumor stages but significance limited. study deregulated mislocalization are hallmarks rather stage SCC.

Expression Of P53 And Ki67 Proteins In Renal Cell Carcinoma And Its Relationship With Nuclear Grade
Background and Objective: Evaluation of tumor proliferative activity may provide a predicting parameter to estimate biologic aggression and a subsequent prognosis that has been evaluated in many malignancies. We have selected renal cell carcinoma (RCC) in this study. To determine tumor proliferative activity, KI67 antibody was applied and results were compared with apoptosis, applying P53 antib...
متن کاملCyclin D1 Expression in Patients with Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma
Background & Objective: Laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is considered to be one of the most common cancers of the head and neck, accounting for roughly 90% of all malignant tumors of the larynx. To have a timely diagnosis for a better and practical therapy, molecular markers have to be investigated. The aim of this study was to determine the expression of Cyclin D1 (CD...

Background: Squamous cell carcinoma has a wide range of histological differentiation, which indicates the prognosis. Location of the tumor also affects its prognosis. Objective: To determine the relationship between location of the tumor, age and sex of patients and histological grading of it. Patients and Methods: In this retrospective study, 44631 files of the patients who were referred to tw...
متن کاملExpression of CK8 and CK17, Specific Epithelial Markers, by Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma Cell Lines
Objectives Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is among the most common cancers worldwide. This study aimed to assess the expression of CK8 and CK17 by OSCC cell lines in Iranian patients. Methods This observational study was conducted on three OSCC cell lines with a minimum of 45 passages. Cells isolated from three patients with OSCC were cultured and passaged. Expression of CK8 and CK17 epi...
